The excitement of the NCAA Final Four in Atlanta will kick off early Friday morning and nearly 50 Mercer students will be on hand to join in the excitement. The Georgia Dome is the host site Saturday and Monday for the NCAA basketball finals and CBS is the network originating coverage for the Final Four.

CBS News will originate “The Early Show” on Friday in Atlanta, hosted by Hannah Storm, from its Hoop City studio established at the World Congress Center. The network invited Mercer to join the audience on the show to help provide a college student environment. Also appearing on the national broadcast will be CBS basketball analysts Billy Packer and Clark Kellogg.

The Mercer students will depart Macon at 4:30 a.m. on Friday to arrive at “The Early Show” television set, which will air on CBS from 7-9 a.m.
