Mercer University will celebrate Homecoming this year with a week of student-focused events leading up to the University’s only home football game of the fall against Abilene Christian University on Oct. 31 at 3 p.m.
QuadWorks, Mercer’s campus activities board, dubbed this year’s Homecoming “The Legend of Mercer Hollow” with a slate of Halloween- and fall-themed activities Oct. 26-30.
“QuadWorks has been hosting two to three events per week, so they have had great practice for how to hold safe but engaging events,” said Meredith Keating White, assistant director of campus life and student involvement. “We’re so excited to be able to host a week of Homecoming events and continue our traditions in a safe and fun way.”
Approximately 20 teams of student organizations will compete throughout the week to be recognized alongside this year’s Homecoming royalty.
