ATLANTA — Megan Rebollar, a third-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) student at Mercer University’s College of Pharmacy, earned one of 18 prestigious scholarships awarded by the National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF). Funded by the United Health Foundation, the scholarship provides up to $20,000 to graduate students from the Western United States pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy or physician assistance.
“This is a remarkable achievement that highlights Megan’s hard work and dedication,” said Interim Dean Pamela Moye. “Her recognition by the NHHF reflects the caliber of students we are proud to support at Mercer.”
Since its founding in 1994 in Washington, D.C., the NHHF has advanced Hispanic health by improving education, advocacy and research. The foundation builds a more diverse and equitable healthcare workforce by supporting students and addressing health disparities nationwide.
“We appreciate the leaders and sponsors who fund this scholarship and share our vision for a more inclusive health sector,” said Dr. Elena Rios, president of NHHF.
Rebollar’s achievement reinforces Mercer’s commitment to preparing students for impactful careers.
