Women Law Students to Sponsor Charity Auction and Ball

402

The Association of Women Law Students (A.W.L.S.) at Mercer Law School  will host the 5th annual Charity Auction and Ball Thursday, March 27, 7-11 p.m., at The Cupola at Plantation Centre.

All proceeds will be donated to “In Our Best Interest,” a battered women’s center in Baldwin County, and the Macon Rescue Mission.

The Charity Auction will feature law professor Chris Wells as the celebrity auctioneer. A new addition this year includes the band Big Johnson and the Criminals, comprised of Mercer Law students, providing entertainment.

A.W.L.S. has set a goal to exceed the $10,000 raised at last year’s event. Organizers feel there are many unique items for bidding.

Tickets are $17 per person, in advance, or $20 at the door.
