Mercer Student to Appear on The Price is Right

MACON—Mercer University student Krystal Morris will appear on the TV game show, The Price Is Right, June 24.

A music education major, Morris was on vacation in Los Angeles with her mother and grandmother when she decided to try out for the show. 

The Mercer University freshman from Odum, Ga., arrived at the TV studio at 3 a.m. to get in line for a chance at appearing on the popular show.  After hours of waiting in line, registration and interviews, she sat in the audience to watch The Price is Right around 2 p.m. and was the third contestant called on stage.

Sporting her Alpha Gamma Delta sorority letters, Morris appeared on stage with Bob Barker and played the game “Easy as 1,2, 3.” With the assistance of the audience and her grandmother and mother, Morris guessed the “right” prices.. Morris is the daughter of Rock and Teresa Morris of Odum, Ga. She attended Wayne County High School.
