DeKalb Students Get Taste of College Life

WHO:  DeKalb County special education students and Dr. Julie Cold, associate professor of clinical and administrative sciences at Mercer’s Southern School of  Pharmacy 
 
WHAT:  Dr. Cold will teach a special drug and alcohol awareness workshop   to a group of Dekalb County special education students participating in the County’s job training program.
 
WHEN:  Tuesday, Nov. 25, 10-11 a.m.
 
WHERE:  Room 004 of the Education Building on Mercer’s Cecil B. Day Atlanta Campus, 3001 Mercer University Drive, off I-85 just inside the perimeter
 
BACKGROUND: Dekalb County special education students have been meeting on Mercer’s Atlanta campus all semester before going to their job training sites. As a part of this job training program, some students are working in various Mercer University offices and Mercer faculty and students will provide various workshops to the students.
