Mercer Ticket Sales and Grand Box Office Relocate to The Grand Opera House

MACON – The Grand Opera House Box Office and Mercer Ticket Sales will begin the New Year by relocating from offices at 400 Poplar St. to their original home at The Grand Opera House, 651 Mulberry St. Starting on Tuesday, Jan. 3, patrons may purchase tickets in person at The Grand or by phone weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in addition to being able to purchase tickets online at TheGrandMacon.com. In-person transactions will take place at the Box Office windows in the lobby at The Grand.

“We’re really excited about bringing the box office back to The Grand,” said Phil Banze, box office manager. “We will be able to offer our patrons a better experience in one centralized location. Whether you want to inquire about renting The Grand for a special event, purchase or pick up tickets, or enjoy your favorite shows – everything will now happen at The Grand.”

The Grand’s administrative offices will remain at 400 Poplar St. The Mercer Ticket Sales satellite location at the University Center on the campus of Mercer University will also remain.
The Grand Box Office and Mercer Ticket Sales closed for the holidays on Dec. 22. The University Center Box Office will be open for special hours on Dec. 28 and 30 and Jan. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and one hour prior to basketball games.  The Administrative Offices for The Grand Opera House and Mercer Ticket Sales will be closed through Jan. 2. We will re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 3, with regular operating hours: weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Administrative Offices will also resume regular hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Jan. 3.
