Avoid waiting to enter the Farmer’s Market, The Fresh Food Company and the Fitness Center with Mercer University‘s new Campus Capacity Monitor.
The online monitor, launched Friday at www.mercer.edu/coronavirus/facilities-and-services/campus-capacity-monitor, displays wait times at each of the three locations. Physical monitors displaying the wait times already are located outside each area.
Students, faculty and staff may want to bookmark this page in their phone’s web browser for on-the-go access. The monitor also can be found in the Mercer University app by clicking on “COVID-19 Information.”
The Campus Capacity Monitor shows not only the wait but also how many occupants are at each location. The location is highlighted green when there is no wait.
Capacity was reduced at the Farmer’s Market, The Fresh Food Company and the Fitness Center before classes resumed in the fall to comply with social distancing guidelines to reduce the risk of spreading of COVID-19.
