Earlier this week, faculty and staff in Mercer’s College of Nursing packed boxes of masks, gloves, goggles and gowns to donate to healthcare workers in Atlanta-area hospitals who are on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.
“We didn’t have huge amounts, but we gave all we had,” said Dean Linda Streit, R.N., Ph.D.
The College of Nursing distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) to WellStar Health System, the state’s largest healthcare system, as well as Peachford Hospital in Dunwoody.
