Chidimma Uwaomah, a Class of 2023 graduate from Mercer University‘s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, earned a Bachelor of Science in biology.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to attend the University of Miami to obtain a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

My favorite professor was Dr. Adam Kiefer, Distinguished University Professor of Chemistry. He made organic chemistry very funny, and he kept the class engaged.

What is one of your favorite Mercer memories?

My favorite memory is from my freshmen year when there was a power outage, and we had a block party on Cruz Plaza and in front of Legacy Hall.

How do you plan on changing the world?

I plan on changing the world by becoming a physical therapist who will treat patients with injuries and/or diseases.

How did Mercer prepare you for your future?

Mercer taught me how to have discipline and a balance. Mercer truly teaches you to take full advantage of every opportunity.
