Kendra Johnson-Albritton recently graduated from Mercer University’s School of Business with a Master of Business Administration.

What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to obtain my Certified Associate in Project Management certification and strategically apply my newly acquired skills to enhance my current leadership role. My goal is to challenge outdated norms, remove systemic barriers, and position myself for advancement to the executive level.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

Heather Currie. She showed a true, genuine interest in what we do next after graduation. She hosted weekly meetings inviting industry leaders and past students to elevate our knowledge. She was a leader and empathetic.

What is one of your favorite Mercer memories?

My first Homecoming as a student with my daughter was fun. My daughter enjoyed every bit of it, and we won. We will be attending each year.

What was your favorite class and why?

Ethical leadership. It showed me the importance of collaboration in consulting. We were challenged to work together and present to the “board” our solutions and opportunities for the organization.

What makes Mercer special to you?

In the heart of Macon, both me and my mother are Mercer alumni now!
