Sugar cookies decorated as pink flowers
Andrea Pendleton, director of development in the College of Pharmacy at Mercer University, decorated these sugar cookies.

Andrea Pendleton, director of development for the College of Pharmacy at Mercer University and a 2005 Mercer alumna, took a cookie decorating class in 2001 and was hooked. After posting pictures of her cookies on her Instagram page, friends and family began asking her to make cookies for their events. Now, when she’s at her busiest, she makes up to 50 dozen cookies a month.

Beyond the Bear is a video series in which we talk to Mercer faculty and staff about their passions, hobbies and interests outside of work.
