The Mercer Bears will face the Wofford Terriers on the gridiron this weekend. Here are three things to know before you go.

1. Chris Lane headlines live music before the game

Celebrate with live music before the game on Black Field with the Ford Concert Series featuring Chris Lane, along with Joe Lasher and Kameron Marlowe. Festivities kick off at noon.

2. It’s Military Appreciation Day

Mercer Athletics invites current and retired members of the U.S. armed services to the game. Tickets are free, courtesy of the Mercer Athletics Middle Georgia Seats for Service initiative. All current and retired military members who would like to attend the game can sign up here. Fans who would like to sponsor and send a military member to the game can do so here.

3. Bears look to change history

The Bears are 6-7 against the Terriers, with Wofford winning the matchup last year 31-14. The last time Mercer won against the Terriers was 1941.
