On Wednesday, March 4, a Sandersville jury returned a $16.5 million verdict for Malone's clients, Albert and Denise Dallas (Dallas v. Bass Logging, No. 12-CV-432). In November 2011, a logging truck pulled out onto a rural Southeast Georgia highway, blocking the path of Albert Dallas, who was severely injured in the resulting crash. Malone and Dallas have been friends for decades attending undergrad at the University of Georgia and then Mercer Law School together, graduating just one year apart.
