MACON - The firm that is planning the new design for the College Hill Corridor will present the results of its study of the area during a meeting in Newton Chapel on Mercer's Macon campus at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

MACON - More than 95 percent of Mercer University School of Law graduates who took the Georgia Bar Examination for the first time in July passed, according to the annual report released Nov. 3 by the Georgia Office of Bar Admissions.

MACON - Freshmen at Mercer University are fighting hunger in the community by hosting the Second Annual Empty Bowls Event in Macon. The First Year Experience class, lead by Mary Ann Drake, Ph.D., is coordinating the efforts of local artists and restaurants to hold a dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Tickets are $25 in advance and will include dinner and a handmade bowl. All proceeds will be donated to local organizations that have a positive impact on hunger fighting efforts in Macon.
