Charles Emeagwai

Charles Emeagwai, a 2020 graduate of Mercer University‘s College of Professional Advancement, earned a Master of Science in Health Informatics.

What are your plans after graduation?

Making best use of the knowledge gained at Mercer at my place of work.

Who was your favorite professor and why? 

Dr. Awatef Ben Ramadan. She always took her time to explain clearly, and I loved the way she structured her classes, quizzes and assignments. I found all of the content incredibly useful.

What was your favorite class and why?

Capstone Project. It made me experiment with what I’ve learned from the beginning of the program and also made me create a survey link that I will be implementing at my job.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

Put in your best, and make sure you are passionate about the course you desire to study.

How did Mercer prepare you for your future?

Mercer provided the appropriate environment for learning and appropriate content for my syllabus. It made me understand a lot better than I ever did. This makes me more passionate about the health informatics world.

What makes Mercer special to you?

Mercer redefined my world. I feel at ease, determined and great knowing that I learned a lot from Mercer. And on top of that, I will be using my master’s degree to advance in my job.
