Han Eaton is graduating from Mercer University’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts in English and communications studies.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan to attend graduate school and help others by teaching ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) or special education.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

Dr. Cameron Kunzelman, assistant professor of communication studies, is my favorite professor. He is always incredibly encouraging and knows how to professionally connect with students and makes class a safe, fun place to learn.

What is one of your favorite Mercer memories?

One of my favorite Mercer memories is walking to and from class and always seeing my friends.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and enjoy everything along the way.

What makes Mercer special to you?

Mercer is special to me because of the connections I’ve made with faculty, staff and my peers along the way. I’ve met lifelong friends.
