Quintavious Berry

Quintavious Berry, a 2020 graduate of Mercer University‘s School of Engineering, earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in electrical engineering.

What are your plans after graduation?

My plans after graduation are to begin working in Savannah as a full-time electrical engineer for Dulohery Weeks.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

Dr. Kevin Barnett because he really broke down the material to where anybody could understand it, and he was very humble and nice.

What is one of your favorite Mercer memories?

My favorite memory at Mercer was going to the NCAA women’s basketball tournament at the University of Georgia to cheer on our women’s basketball team.

What was your favorite class and why?

My favorite class was Digital Signal Processing taught by Dr. Barnett because it was so relatable to what I do as a producer.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

My advice to students coming in is to not be afraid of change because change is good for growth. Get to know your professors, not just to get good grades but to build relationships. Also, whatever you put in is what you’re going to get out. So study hard, and you will reap the fruits of your labor.
