Rachel Lukavsky is graduating from Mercer University‘s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.

What are you plans after graduation?

I will be returning to Mercer to pursue my Pharm.D. degree from the College of Pharmacy in Atlanta.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

Dr. Kevin Bucholtz. His witty sense of humor and engaging teaching made learning organic chemistry fun!

What advice do you have for incoming students?

Engage in opportunities, but don’t overextend yourself. College is already hard. Don’t make it more stressful by getting involved in everything.

How did Mercer prepare you for your future?

It taught me how to think critically and learn from my peers while growing in my own beliefs.

What makes Mercer special to you?

The connections I have made with past, current and future Bears! The love of Mercer runs deep!
