Savannah Eichhorn, a 2021 graduate of Mercer University‘s College of Pharmacy, earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

What are your plans after graduation?

I will be completing a pharmacy residency at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center!

What is one of your favorite Mercer memories?

I am a Double Bear, so I have so many fond memories of my time at Mercer. However, one of my favorites would be doing a Mercer On Mission to Peru as a Mercer Service Scholar during my time as an undergrad. I grew so much personally during that trip.

What was your favorite class and why?

My favorite pharmacy class was cardiovascular disorders because the information I learned in this class is applicable to almost any patient population! On every rotation over the past year, I encountered patients with hypertension or heart failure!

What advice do you have for incoming students?

Give everything your all! In both Mercer undergrad and in pharmacy school, I strived to be as involved as I could in both classes and in extracurriculars, and this allowed me to learn more about the profession I was pursuing and to make connections with pharmacists around Atlanta.

What makes Mercer special to you?

Mercer will always be special to me. In undergrad, I was able to grow as an individual as I learned more about the world we live in, and I made many lifelong friends. During pharmacy school, I was able to grow into a professional as I learned how to care for my future patients.
