Mercer University Department of Physical Therapy Places Second in the Marquette Challenge

The Mercer University Department of Physical Therapy competed in the 2015-2016 Pittsburg-Marquette Challenge, finishing in second place out of 150 participating physical therapy programs. The Marquette Challenge is an annual grassroots fundraising effort coordinated and carried out by physical therapist and physical therapist assistant students across the country to support new investigators in the field of physical therapy research. Through various fundraising activities Mercer University raised $41,061.07 for the Foundation for Physical Therapy in only their second year participating! Members of the Class of 2017 received the award from Dr. Sharon Dunn, President of the American Physical Therapy Association at the NEXT Meeting 2016 in June.
