Meet Charles Platt

How long he’s worked at Mercer: Three and a half years

What he does: Platt works on the Macon campus and said his main responsibilities are to protect the students and faculty on campus. “Mercer Police provides a safe, peaceful environment through the protection of life and property in order to maintain a quality of life in which members of the Mercer community can work, teach and learn,” according to

What he loves most about his work: Platt enjoys his work and loves greeting and talking with everyone he encounters. He said the best part about working at Mercer is the friendly atmosphere.
