ATLANTA/MACON – Mercer University's Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics features prominently in CEO Magazine's annual ranking of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA (EMBA) and Online MBA programs, released today.

Mercer's Online MBA program comes in at No. 16, and its MBA and EMBA programs are placed in the top tier of the magazine's global rankings.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition from CEO Magazine,” said Dr. Susan P. Gilbert, dean of the Stetson School of Business and Economics. “We have deliberately kept our classes small, our population diverse and our quality standards high – all of which are considered within the magazine's ranking methodology.”

CEO Magazine launched in 2008 to showcase the top business schools from around the world. In 2012, the magazine released its inaugural Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, EMBA and Online MBA programs. This year's edition reached out to more than 300 business schools across North America, Europe and Australia and received responses from 140 institutions.

“The increase in the number of business schools participating and the inclusion of some very well-known and highly regarded players within the market serve to further establish the CEO Magazine Global MBA Rankings as a go-to reference tool for future MBA students,” said Editor-in-Chief Alexandra Skinner.

The magazine's rankings are designed with applicants in mind, examining factors such as learning environment, class size, tuition, faculty, delivery methods, international diversity, gender makeup and more. The objective is to identify schools that combine exceptional quality with great return on investment.
