The Mercer Brass Quintet had the privilege to perform at the Governor's Mansion Sunday, Dec. 4 during the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. The tradition allows families to create holiday memories at the “People's House.”
Pictured with Governor Nathan Deal is band director Doug Hill along with the Mercer Brass Quintet (L-R); Jeremiah Kersting, Matthew Ezeh, Jon Grizzle, Nick Smith and Dillon Watkins.
“It was a great time and the Governor and the First Lady were most gracious hosts,” said Hill. The Governor's Mansion is located at 391 West Paces Ferry Rd. NW. Public tours are conducted throughout the year on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
