MACON – At the March 23 annual meeting of the United Way of Central Georgia, Mercer University was recognized as one of the top 10 most generous workplaces.
The recognition was based on Mercer faculty, staff and students contributing a record $107,094 to the 2016 United Way campaign.
That total placed Mercer at No. 5 among Central Georgia employers in dollars raised for the campaign, behind GEICO, Georgia Power, Publix and Perdue Farms.
