WHERE: New Center, 160 Henry Parkway in McDonough, adjacent to the Henry County Administration Building, off exit 218 of I-75
BACKGROUND: The 30,000-square-foot facility is the result of a public/private partnership between the Henry County Development Authority, the Henry County Board of Commissioners and Mercer University. The Center is designed specifically for adult learners and will offer evening and weekend baccalaureate degree and certificate programs. Classes start Aug. 18.
