Want to stay active even when you’re stuck at home? Mercer’s fitness instructors are providing daily workout plans and online group fitness experiences to help you stay in shape.
Here’s what’s offered on April 7:
- Step into Tuesday with step aerobics — even if you don’t have an exercise step. Get the step aerobics workout.
- Modify this barre workout by using cans of vegetables or soup if you don’t have light weights at home. Get the barre workout.
- Join a group fitness instructor on Zoom at noon for a upper body workout. A resistance band or dumbbells are recommended. Participate in group fitness on Zoom. If you can’t attend live, the video will be archived on the Wellness Facebook page.
In addition to these daily workouts, Mercer Employee Wellness is inviting students to join faculty and staff in their April virtual challenges and events. Want to complete a marathon, workout with friends and faculty every day, or take a cooking class all while sheltering in place? Now you can! Be sure to register for virtual wellness events taking place all month long.
