Allison Slaughter is graduating from Mercer University’s School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in management.
What are your plans after graduation?
I want to continue my education and pursue my MBA at Mercer University. I also want to continue to grow my career at the University as well.
Who was your favorite professor and why?
Dr. Briana Stenard was my favorite professor. She challenged me to think deeper. She never hesitated to answer my questions and to make sure I understood the material. Her impact will stay with me long after graduation.
What is one of your favorite Mercer memories?
One of my favorite Mercer memories was the moment I got accepted. As soon as I read my acceptance letter, the excitement and nerves kicked in. It was the beginning of a journey I’ll never forget. That moment truly left its mark on me.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Trust the process! The journey may be long and winding, but every step is worth it. Graduating college is a major life accomplishment, and all the hard work truly pays off in the end!
What makes Mercer special to you?
Mercer is special to me because it made my dream of graduating from college a reality. The professors and staff are incredibly supportive and genuinely care about their students. Mercer has opened so many doors for me, and I’ll always be grateful for everything this university has given me.
